The War of the Lions is the second announced game in Square Enix's "Ivalice Alliance" promotional campaign of video games set in the Ivalice fictional world.
The game is an updated version of Final Fantasy Tactics for the PlayStation video game console, which was originally released in 1997. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix originally for the Sony PlayStation Portable.
